HUP - VILLA HUPFELD LEIPZIG - RENOVATION AND RENOVATION OF THE HISTORICAL BUILDING
The instrument manufacturer Ludwig Hupfeld was one of the great industrial manufacturers of Leipzig during the Wilhelminian period. His phonola and orchestra became world famous. His residence is one of the most important architectural monuments in the city. The Villa Hupfeld was planned by Emil Franz Hänsel. An American architect designed the music salon, gentlemen's room, dining room, smoking room and hunting room with elaborately ornamented paneling and paintings.
The property is about 3000 m² in size and has a park-like garden.
The historic trees, green areas and terraces form the foundation for the development of a true-to-original garden concept.
The building offers a variety of possible uses on three floors, such as spacious commercial or residential units. The upper outdoor terrace offers a sweeping view of the rooftops of Leipzig and the residential block of Lumumbastrasse.
We revised and expanded the fire protection concept and implemented the fire protection renovation. Execution planning and
Construction supervision, as well as outdoor facilities planning and civil engineering planning, the
Revision and implementation of elevator planning and
Technical and content-related project coordination with the TGA trades was also part of our services.
